How the Site earns money
Some links on the Site may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission. You do not pay extra because of it.
What commissions do not change
Commissions do not change our guidance, ratings, or rankings. We do not accept payment to recommend a retailer or a product.
No reviews or testing we have not done
We do not publish fake reviews, testimonials, or star ratings, and we do not claim to have tested products we have not tested.
Where you will see disclosures
Pages that have, or may show, affiliate links carry a short disclosure near the top of the page. The site footer also carries a disclosure on every page.
Affiliate programs
At the time of this update, the Site has no live affiliate links and is not part of any named affiliate program. When that changes, we will list the programs on this page.
We are not a retailer
We do not sell lamps. Specifications, prices, wattage, lumens, safety certifications (such as UL or ETL listings), and availability are set by the retailer and the manufacturer, and they can change. Confirm details with the retailer before you buy. Any purchase is between you and the retailer.
Cookies on retailer sites
When you click an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network may set cookies to track the referral. Those cookies are set on their side, under their own policies.
